My story
Hello, I’m Bethany, the founder of Bethany’s Business Support. I provide professional, reliable virtual assistance and accessibility consultancy with a personal touch, helping businesses and professionals work more smoothly and inclusively.
My background includes four fulfilling years working in accessibility consultancy, where I helped a variety of organisations create more inclusive environments and better communication practices. While I found this work deeply meaningful, in 2024 I chose to step away from the corporate world to focus on my wellbeing.
I spent eight transformative months travelling through South Asia, which sparked a desire for more balance, freedom, and purpose, and led to the creation of my own business.
Academically, I hold a First-Class BSc and an MSc with Distinction in Tourism, Hospitality, and Business Management. I also grew up on a farm with a tearoom and farm shop, which gave me early hands-on experience in customer service, organisation, and running a small business, all of which shaped my naturally caring, practical, and proactive approach to work.
I’m passionate about helping others and making a positive impact , whether that's managing your inbox, advising on more accessible ways to operate your business, proofreading your reports, or streamlining your admin systems.
Outside of work, you’ll often find me enjoying nature, cooking international dishes, travelling to new places, or spending quality time with friends and family.
